How to Deal With Procrastination
Now that we know what causes procrastination, we can learn how to deal with it. One way of dealing with procrastination is by understanding that in the long run, what we are putting off will be more hurtful to us than if we just buckled down and did it. Another thing you might consider doing is to break the task into many smaller tasks. Then begin with a small task and work on another task and eventually you will begin to build momentum and before you know it you will have finished every task and the project itself. There are many ways to reduce your procrastination problem, but remember this it is almost always easier to get something done ahead of time then when you have to rush to finish something.

Why do people procrastinate?
There are man reasons why someone procrastinates. Many people believe it's just someone being lazy, but theres more to that then most people would like to think. One reason is that someone is afraid to fail so they put it off until later, or even just not do it at all. Others like me find something that is more fun to do than whatever the thing we should be doing could be, such as hanging out with friends rather than writing an essay. Sometimes we choose to put something off. Why would we do something like this? More than likely because we are angry or frustrated with someone. Our anger or frustration with that person may make us unwilling to complete the assignment that they want us to do. The last reason is that someone may not think they are ready to do something as good as they would like. They would like their assignment to be perfect and will wait until they think they can do it perfectly. Whatever our reason for procrastinating, we need to find a way to stop it or at least not let it consume every single little thing we do.

My Procrastination Problem
For as long as I can remember I have been a procrastinator. I know I am not
the only one with this problem, in fact many of us have this problem. I have been
put in some bad situations because i wait till the last second to finish something. In
fact last year by the end of the spring semester i had five essays due in one week
that i could have finished a lot earlier in the year and not have any of them pile up.
I remember struggling to get them done and because i did have to rush them i did
not get the grade i knew i could have gotten if i had just started on time. I am tired
of being a procrastinator and i hope this blog is helpful to everyone who procrastinates
including myself.
